Donnellan & Co. is an Independent Financial Advisory Company, which was founded in 2009. Our financial planning team focus on supporting you in all aspects of your financial affairs. We aim to provide clients with the most appropriate financial advice possible in an honest, transparent, professional and cost effective manner.

Our team undertake continuous professional development training to develop and maintain the level of competency necessary to provide high quality services to our clients. Shane Donnellan FCCA, AITI, QFA, LIAP, CFP®
Director

Shane Donnellan, a native of Loughrea, Co. Galway, is a Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA), a Registered Tax Consultant (AITI) and Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA). Shane completed a post graduate Diploma In Financial Planning from the Institute of Bankers/UCD at the end of 2011. He was subsequently awarded the internationally recognised designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, which represents the highest level of professional practice in financial planning.  Shane has also completed a Pension Diploma and Diploma in Property Investment & Lending.

He has over 15 years experience in the accounting and financial services sector in Ireland. For six years he worked in the tax technical and tax compliance departments of Ernst & Young Dublin. Most recently he worked with Independent Trustee Company providing advice to Intermediaries on retirement planning & cost effective retirement structures.

He is a member of the ACCA, Institute of Taxation, the Life Insurance Association (LIA). Shane specialises in all areas of Financial Planning including Pensions, Savings & Investments, Mortgages, Life & Income Protection and Post Retirement Structures.

Ashling Donnellan ACA, BBSL
Director

Ashling Donnellan, a native of Newbridge, Co. Kildare, is a Chartered Accountant. She trained with Ernst & Young Dublin. Since then she has spent over ten years working as an Accountant in small to medium size businesses in the Retail, Distribution and Construction sectors. She is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland and is currently studying for the Institute of Tax Chartered Tax Advisor qualification.

Ashling specialises in providing support and advice to SMEs and has experience advising clients trading in and expanding to overseas markets.
